Who we are

Peel Plays ("we", "us") operates this website, an independent directory of playgrounds in Peel Region, Ontario, Canada. You can reach us at montour.t0111@gmail.com.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not run contact forms that store your details on our servers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The information involved in your visit falls into two groups:

• Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to action corrections, and we do not sell it or add you to a mailing list.
• Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider and our advertising partners may record standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you view. This is used for security, performance and advertising measurement.

Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a website. Peel Plays itself does not use cookies to profile you, but third parties that serve content and advertising on this site do place cookies and may read cookies already on your device.

Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting change to the directory. We take reasonable measures to protect information in our care, but no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under Canada's PIPEDA, the GDPR in Europe and the UK, and the CCPA in California — you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Email us and we will respond. Because we hold very little personal data, in most cases the only records are emails you have sent us.

Children's privacy

This site is written for parents and caregivers, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes or as advertising requirements evolve. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
